My son just flew by himself from Houston to Chicago on American, and upgraded to First Class. He was served wine with his dinner, which he accepted, just to see what they said, and the flight attendant gave him a glass and even offered him more later in the flight. He’s 18 years old. Was this legal?

So a week after I booked a flight to Jamaica for this next August, my friend invited me to be a groomsman in his wedding and I need to change my return flight. I bought the flight through Orbitz and the flight is with Delta airlines. What’s the best way to go about re-booking the flight to avoid as many fees as possible?

I have a flight at 9:30am tomorrow. Is there a time that is considered “too early” to let me in through security, bag check, etc.?

I’m going to be flying to Oregon later this month, and my friend told me that nowadays Flight Attendants have the authority to spank passengers who use electronics during flight! I have flown before, but not since 2001. My friend said that most airlines imposed these policies recently because they were sick of people using electronic devices during flight. Apparently all the major airlines in the U.S. do this, and apparently they’re allowed to spank on the bare bottom! He told me each airline has a signature implement they use, too. They’re usually paddles that have the airline logo on them. I had no idea they were allowed to do this, is this true?

Nikki asked:
Say I wanted to book two separate flights to make it to my destination (meaning I would book one flight to one airport and when I arrived there I would have a layover until my next flight to my final destination left a couple of hours later). I would be booking this myself… possibly even two different airlines. If my first flight were delayed and I missed my second flight, the airline would see it as my fault. So what would happen in this situation? Would I have to buy a whole other ticket at full price on the spot to make it to my destination?
