I’ve never been through an airport and on a plane by myself before, and I’ve never had to get a connecting flight. Is it simply a case of getting off your first flight, getting your luggage, finding the check-in desk for the airline for the second flight and repeating the whole process? I have 1 hour and 35 mins to do it in at Amsterdam, I think that’ll be enough.

I know on internal Chinese flights, it is cheaper if you book a week or a few days ahead, it is almost always more expensive if you book a month or so in advanced. Would this be true for flights from Beijing to Japan also? I searched for flight prices on eLong within June, and it was coming up at quite a resonable price, then I searched for July, and it came up with really expensive prices.
Do you think the July prices will eventually drop as it gets nearer, or will they stay high because it is an international flight?

I am thinking of becoming a flight attendant. I think I have a lot of the qualities looked for in one, for example I’ve flown hundreds of times and speak four languages fluently. What other types of attributes are looked for in a flight attendant?
If you are a flight attendant, how has it been? Is it really stressful, or are there more pros than cons? Does the company you work for have regulations about what you have to look like, how tall you have to be, etc?

I do long flights on Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I usually takeoff, go to bed and wake up 8 hours later and land. Lately, my computer seems to be incapable of running the game for this long. When I go to bed, I minimize flight sim and turn off the screen. I get up, turn on the screen and right when I maximize flight sim, it freezes up and restarts. It says a serious error occurred. It also restarts even when the screen is on and flight sim is running. Any ideas?

I’ve always wanted to be a flight attendant. I love being in airports and in planes, I even love the in-flight meals. Most of all I love to travel. However, I suspect being a flight attendant isn’t all its cracked up to be.
So I’m curious: can anyone tell me what its like?

I booked a flight on Priceline and am pretty sure I cannot make the flight departure, but I could make the next one out. Has anyone had this experience and did the airline charge ya to get on standby for the next flight out?

Hi!
How often are stewardesses scheduled on the same flight, i.e. If the fly on a Friday from Frankfurt to Athens, how soon will they be scheduled on that flight again.
Is there any way to find out about the scheduling times and flights, if you are not working for that airline? Are they allowed to give out this information or is that confidential? I mean can I call them up and ask for such info?
Thanks!
Stephan
