I’m going to be flying to Oregon later this month, and my friend told me that nowadays Flight Attendants have the authority to spank passengers who use electronics during flight! I have flown before, but not since 2001. My friend said that most airlines imposed these policies recently because they were sick of people using electronic devices during flight. Apparently all the major airlines in the U.S. do this, and apparently they’re allowed to spank on the bare bottom! He told me each airline has a signature implement they use, too. They’re usually paddles that have the airline logo on them. I had no idea they were allowed to do this, is this true?

Yes, absolutely. But also, if they bring you the wrong drink or otherwise fail to look after you properly, you can report them to the Chief Steward. And then, if he thinks the complaint’s justified, he’ll give you a paddle and you can spank the offending stewardess on her bare bottom. You can keep the paddle as a souvenir, too!
