I did find one website (continental) that said up to 6’3″ was acceptable but most airlines’ websites don’t list their restrictions. Does anyone know of any other airlines that I would be able to work for as a flight attendant? Any information would be appreciated.

Do the flight attendants make the decision to evacuate? How do they know when to act if they hear nothing from the flight deck crew? Can they over ride orders from the flight deck or can they simply do what they feel is right at any given time in the interests of safety?
Simon B: so if the pilots are unconscious after a severe impact everyone just sits there and doesn’t leave the aircraft??
