I’m going to turn 18 in January of 2011, and am planning a trip to London, England in mid-February. I will be buying the ticket the following Tuesday of my birthday. How much would a flight+hotel cost to London, England in the dead of winter?

I know summer time it costs around 700-800 dollars round trip for flight, but in the winter, around last minute it should be lower than that? Right?

I need a flight out of south Florida for the holidays and the earliest flights I can get home without being kicked out of where I’m staying leave from Palm Beach to NY at 9:50pm and then the connecting flight is at 5:40am the next day…that means you have to sleep in the airport right? What happens to your luggage? Staying here one more night would cost the equivalent to two plane tickets!
I can’t leave any earlier, I’m cheating with 9:50 anyway since thats when my last meeting is scheduled to end.

I need to change the return flight. We’ll call it Flight A. But it will cost a huge amount of money, AND it doesn’t guarantee I’ll get on the flight I need to make–I would be on standby.

It would be cheaper to book a flight (Flight B) on the date I need to return and intentionally MISS flight A.

Will the airline sic their henchmen on me? Fraud? What happens?!
Obviously, I would book Flight B on a different airline.
Flight B needs to occur 1 day before Flight A.
There are no connection flights I am trying to make.
